Saints This Month - 13 May: Blessed Imelda Lambertini

Thursday, May 13, 2010
In parishes up and down England we are entering the First Communion season. Over the past six months I have assisted in preparing a group in a parish in Oxford. As Christians we have a duty to exercise our right to vote and to do so not by worldly standards but in the light of the truth of faith and human reason. Our choices can significantly affect many lives, especially the lives of the most vulnerable people in society, such as the poor, human embryos, children in the womb, and those who are terminally ill.  Read more
